2009 River Rescue Works!
River Rescue 2009 was held June 13th on the James River. The Benefit Concert at the historic Ozark Mill for the 6th consecutive year.

This year's event was the best ever, with the clean up on the James River. We ended the day with our benefit concert at the historic Ozark Mill with local bands Techs and The Roadies, The Lowdown Fancy, and Honky Suckle.
Over 200 people joined us on the banks of the Finley to celebrate the success.
Clean Up Successes for 2009
- Over 160 participants
- Over 60 canoes on the river
- 5.76 tons of trash removed
- 32 tires removed
